Bakir Hajdarevic became a member of APPIL in January 2017, working in Dr. Kaczka’s lab. His current research is developing and optimizing a control scheme for a novel mechanical ventilation strategy devised by Dr. Kaczka and his lab termed Multi-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation. This work involves extensive real-time testing as well as the development of instrumentation for a mechanical ventilator.
