Background

  • Jarron joined APPIL as an imaging technologist and research assistant in May of 2017. After obtaining his Radiologic Technologist certification and Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Sciences from the University of Iowa, he was employed in clinical CT in the radiology department at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for two and a half years before joining the APPIL team. He is also board-certified in Computed Tomography (CT).

  • Jarron's main responsibilities within the lab consist of scanning and documenting human, animal, and phantom studies as well as scheduling, billing, equipment quality control, and peer-analysis of pulmonary imaging studies from other research facilities across the country.
