Research Summary

Ahmed's current research interests are related to quantitative CT-based analysis of the human airway tree. More specifically, the overall aim of my Ph.D. research study is to develop and evaluate new theory and algorithms for automated CT-based segmentation of human airway trees, anatomical labeling of bronchi, and computation of morphological airway phenotypes.
