Indranil Guha is a second year PhD student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Iowa. Indranil Guha is working with prof. Punam Kumar Saha, in Advanced Pulmonary Physiomic Imaging Laboratory (APPIL). Indranil Guha earned their bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Jadavpur University in 2016. Indranil Guha worked as software development engineer at Time Inc India (Now owned by Meredith Corporation) for one year before joining UIOWA in August 2017.
Indranil Guha research work is primarily focused on the development of new theory and algorithms related to digital topology, geometry and shape for quantitative morphometric analysis and their applications in vivo musculoskeletal and pulmonary imaging. Indranil Guha is also interested in applying deep learning algorithms for Image registration and micro-structural analysis of in vivo bone CT scans.
